Fixed

  • CI: scope Markdown format/lint (mdformat, PyMarkdown) to project paths to avoid scanning the virtualenv, resolving failing runs on main.
  • Codecov upload: stabilized local uploader flags and ensured CI upload remains green.
  • VS Code: added workspace settings to use .venv, enable pytest, and migrate Ruff to the new extension model; added extension recommendations to reduce editor warnings (e.g., "Unable to import 'fastapi'").
  • README: streamlined Docs section, added/remodeled badges (CI, CodeQL, Coverage, Release, Version, License, Python, mypy, ruff, pre-commit, Dependabot) and removed redundant tag badge.
  • Release workflow: improved release-notes version/tag handling; created v0.3.0 GitHub Release so the Release badge resolves.
  • Dependencies: synchronized requirements.txt with pyproject.toml (added PyYAML, aligned version floors) for consistent Docker builds.
