Just requesting an addition to the commit:
Extend print CCMD to accept CVAR as parameter to print its value as player message
to include toggle CCMDs:
Related Discussion:
How can I display the last console message onscreen?
Use case
After binding a key to toggle voxels:
I want be able to see the respective console message of that toggle, on screen (so that I know if the value is Auto, On or Off).
Update
It seems like my main request is still:
How can I display the last console message onscreen?
Looking for a way to keep the print command permanent (perhaps a separate CVAR?)
so if I type
I want it to display that message whenever that toggle is used... in future - ideally I want to be able to print all CVARs without having to explicitly mention each one, perhaps something like:
that would continually print CVARs while in game as the CVAR changes?
Update 2
I tried the commit:
Allow any combination of "message" and CVARs as parameters for print CCMD
This prints on console and a player message - once:
How do I get it to print every time the value is on? Is there something like:
Update 3
Missed the
ELSEclause earlier - so now just need this to repeat:To I need to incorporate the
bindfunction into that? The trigger is the bind key v - I want it to display the above message ever time I trigger the key...All reactions
