Evoker Raids

Evoker's Omen adds its own custom raid system while keeping vanilla raids unchanged.

This applies the Evoker's Omen effect.

When you enter a village under valid raid conditions, the effect converts into Evoker Raid Omen and begins the custom raid.

What Changes?

During an Evoker Raid:

  • Raid-spawned raiders are replaced with Evokers.
  • The raid leader remains an Evoker.
  • Higher Evoker's Omen levels add additional Evokers to the raid.
  • Emerald rewards scale with the Omen level.
  • Raid Evokers can drop Evoker's Omen items.
  • The custom Omen level is remembered by the raid.

The normal Minecraft raid system still handles the raid itself, including its waves and progression.

Difficulty Scaling

The selected Evoker's Omen level determines how many additional Evokers are added.

Omen Level Evoker Scaling
I Baseline
II +25%
III +50%
IV +75%
V +100%

Level V is the maximum difficulty and approximately doubles the baseline Evoker count.

Raid Persistence

The Evoker's Omen level associated with a custom raid is saved with the world.

If you Save & Quit during an Evoker Raid and later reload the world, the raid keeps its Evoker's Omen level.

Evoker Stacking

Evoker's Omen includes handling to prevent replacement Evokers from being repeatedly replaced or stacked during raid spawning.

What Stays Vanilla?

Evoker's Omen is designed so the custom system does not replace normal Minecraft behavior.

Vanilla Ominous Bottles

Drinking a normal Ominous Bottle still leads to a normal vanilla raid.

Normal Mob Spawning

Evokers, Pillagers, Vindicators, Witches, Ravagers, and other mobs spawning normally outside the custom raid are unchanged.

Commands

Using /summon to spawn an Evoker or another mob is unchanged.

The Evoker-only replacement applies specifically to raiders spawned as part of an Evoker's Omen raid.
