FAQ & Troubleshooting
Here are answers to common questions about Evoker's Omen and some basic troubleshooting steps.
No.
Vanilla Ominous Bottles still lead to normal vanilla raids.
Evoker-only raids are triggered through the custom Evoker's Omen I–V items.
Normal Evokers outside an Evoker's Omen raid are not replaced or converted into custom raid Evokers.
Normal world spawning and /summon behavior remain unchanged.
All five Evoker's Omen items can be found in the Food & Drinks tab of the Creative inventory.
This is intentional.
Only these vanilla Ominous Bottle levels begin the first three brewing paths:
- Ominous Bottle I → Evoker's Omen I
- Ominous Bottle II → Evoker's Omen II
- Ominous Bottle III → Evoker's Omen III
Evoker's Omen IV and V continue the custom progression using earlier Evoker's Omen items instead.
The brewing recipes require a genuine Ominous Banner.
A normal white banner or an incorrectly recreated banner will not satisfy the recipe.
Yes.
Evoker's Omen III supports both orders when adding the Emerald and genuine Ominous Banner.
Yes.
The custom Evoker's Omen raid level is stored with the world. Reloading the world during the raid keeps its associated Omen level.
Yes.
Normal Evokers have a 5% chance to drop Evoker's Omen I.
Evokers participating in a custom Evoker's Omen raid have a total 11.5% chance to drop an Omen item, with higher raid levels unlocking higher Omen tiers.
A successful roll produces at most one Omen item.
No.
Evokers created normally with /summon remain normal Evokers.
The custom raid behavior applies specifically to Evokers associated with an Evoker's Omen raid.
