Breadboard 3.1 is here!
This is a pretty big update but most changes are under-the-hood fixes or are feature additions, so things should continue to feel familiar.

✨ Add the ability to tune the recommendations algorithm
Breadboard now has a new option in settings to tweak the recommendations system to help you get even better images in your Browse page. You can:- View the tags that were most recently recommended, and the ones that will be considered for recommendations ("frequent tags").
- Select the number of tags considered and chosen for recommendations.
- Ignore specific tags to prevent them from being used to recommend new content.
- Crucially, this is different from blocking. You can still see images with ignored tags, whereas you cannot see images with blocked tags.
- Control whether or not the order of tags in the frequent tags list matters.
- Your frequent tags are sorted by popularity, i.e. how common they are in your favourite images.
- This option controls whether or not the tags shown earlier in the list are more likely to be chosen to recommend new content.

🏷️ Tag options window
You can now long-press a tag in the info sheet to bring up a dialog allowing you to search the tag, copy it to the clipboard, or block it entirely. This replaces the previous behaviour where long-pressing would always copy it. -
↻ Pull-to-refresh in search
This was previously an experimental option. Updates have been made to the pull-to-refresh system and now the feature is enabled for everyone! -
You can now drag the image viewer down to dismiss it.

Tooltips have been added to options in Settings. You can now tap the ℹ️ button on an option to learn more about it, removing the need to scroll to the bottom and find the relevant information like before.

A new experimental option to preview a beautiful new immersive image viewer design has been added. It features translucency and smooth blur effects and requires Android 12 or newer.

Breadboard's internal list of ignored tags can now be updated independently to the app itself, meaning Breadboard will be able to serve more precise and useful recommendations without needing an app update or actions by the user.

You can now choose to merge the blocked/ignored tags and favourite images from a backup file with your current data, rather than completely overwrite it.

Retirement of the legacy package name
Breadboard 3.2 will retire the legacy package name which is currently used by previous -github releases. The transition to the new package name was announced almost 5 months ago on August 1st.
We will continue to provide releases under the legacy package name until Breadboard 3.2. However, to serve as an additional reminder, future -github builds will be known as -legacy until they are fully retired. -play builds will no longer have a suffix as they should be considered the main version. If you have not already switched to what was formerly known as a -play build (which is identical to the Google Play Store version), you need to do so as soon as possible.
You can check your release version by heading to Breadboard's Settings > 3 dots at the top > About. If your version name says "Play Store", you're already good to go. Otherwise, you need to make a backup/export, uninstall your current version, and reinstall the modern version. The easiest way to do this would be to download Breadboard on Google Play. If you need help, just create a GitHub issue.
