Fixed
- A host name in
FILEX_FTPS_PUBLIC_HOSTstopped the FTPS listener. The
setting is documented as "the address to advertise for passive connections",
so a host name is the obvious value — and it made FTPS refuse to start with
invalid passive IP, while/healthzanswered 200 and every other endpoint
came up. One protocol was simply absent, and the only trace was a single
line in the startup log. A name is now resolved once at startup; a literal
address still passes through, and empty still means "answer with the control
connection's own address". The two remaining refusals name the setting and
the fix, because the old message named neither.
Changed
- Desktop packages are built on every tag. They were produced by hand,
which is why they drifted: 0.20.0 shipped a server whose headline feature
was the protocol endpoints while the installed desktop app was still 0.18.2,
so the Connections and Tokens screens did not exist for anyone who had it.
Windows and Linux build in CI and attach to the release. macOS is
deliberately absent until there is a Developer ID certificate — an unsigned
build is refused by Gatekeeper with a message that reads like a corrupt
download.
