• Release tags are signed from here on, and there is finally a key to sign
  them with. CONTRIBUTING.md had said git tag -s for months while no
  signing key existed on the release machine, so every tag through v0.27.5 is a
  plain annotated one — an instruction nobody can follow is not a policy, it is
  a lie the document tells. The step now also requires git tag -v to answer
  Good signature before the tag is pushed, and says where the key and its
  passphrase live. Nothing in the shipped software changes in this release.
