What changed

Changed

  • A press on a file or folder name opens it, on every device (#26). The
    first round made a tap open on a phone only while nothing was selected; after
    a long press every tap toggled the selection, so a name could no longer be
    opened. The rule is now the one the reporter asked for, on a phone and with a
    mouse alike: a click or tap on the name opens the item, with or without a
    selection · the checkbox selects, as before · a right click or a
    long press opens the menu · Ctrl/Shift on a name still add to or extend
    the selection · a click beside the name (the size or date cells) still
    selects with a mouse. A habitual double-click on a folder name opens that
    folder only: the second click is ignored instead of opening whatever the new
    listing put under the pointer. Measured in a real browser at phone size with
    touch and at desktop size with a mouse; the double-click guard was proven by
    removing it, which opened the sub-folder under the pointer.

  • The SSO button's label is yours (#28). Admin → Branding → SSO button
    label     (setting branding.sso_label, per tenant, up to 60 characters). Empty
    keeps the default, which no longer names a provider: it reads Sign in with
    SSO     instead of "Sign in with SSO (Keycloak)", whatever the identity provider
    is (docs/SSO.md).

Fixed

  • A black or white accent no longer hides the sign-in button (#29). The
    branding accent was painted as the button's fill with the theme's label colour
    and nothing else, so a black accent drew a dark label on a black button on the
    dark card, and a white accent a white label on a white button on the light
    card. The button is now designed per theme: the label is picked from the
    accent itself, and whenever the fill does not stand out from the card of the
    theme it is shown in, the button draws an edge in that theme. Measured in a
    real browser for black and white in both themes: label contrast ≥ 3:1 on the
    fill, and fill or edge ≥ 1.6:1 against the card. The public share page's
    accent button follows the same rule.

  • Folder sizes follow a move, an upload or a delete right away (#27). They
    were only recomputed at the end of a sync pass, so on a storage that syncs
    rarely — or manually — a moved file stayed counted in its old folder and
    missing from the new one for hours. Every change now schedules a recompute of
    that storage's folder sizes (2 s after a burst, at most 15 s into a long one)
    and refreshes the open listings, whichever surface made the change — the
    explorer, WebDAV, S3, SFTP or NFS. Measured on two MinIO storages: both folders
    show their new size within seconds; with the refresh removed, even an upload's
    folder stayed at 0.

  • A running move shows how far it has got (#27). A queued operation counts
    what you selected, so moving one large file — or one folder — was "0 of 1"
    until the end: a bar frozen at 0% that then vanished. A transfer between two
    storages now reports the bytes it has moved and the total it measured, and
    both progress surfaces (the explorer's operations center and the admin tray)
    draw that; when there is no honest percentage they show a moving indicator
    instead of 0%. GET /api/files/ops carries bytes_done / bytes_total while
    such an operation runs (docs/BACKEND.md).

  • A file at a storage's root no longer shows a lone "—" under its name in
    grid view     — search results and the Recent, Starred and Shared views, where
    the card names the folder a result lives in. The gallery and the list's
    Location column already left it empty; the grid printed a dash that read as a
    stray character. Found while checking this release's screenshots.
