One consolidated release covering sub-projects 11 to 16. Everything merged since v0.16.0 ships here; the interim version numbers mentioned in earlier docs (0.17 to 0.19) were never tagged.

Highlights

  • Transcript and directory ingestion (#21): ingest-transcript parses Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor sessions per message, idempotent with external ids; ingest-dir walks source trees honouring .gitignore. Store format v2.
  • Scoping (#22): every item carries a hierarchical scope path (claude-code/<project>, files/<root>); descendant-aware filters on search, retrieve, list, and MCP; scope list. Store format v3.
  • Editor hooks and wake-up (#24): singularmem hooks install <claude-code|codex|cursor> wires session-start context injection and stop/pre-compact/session-end ingestion; singularmem wake-up --project prints recent project memory. Editor integration moved to the open tier (constitution v0.3.0).
  • Temporal knowledge graph (#25): entities and append-only facts with valid-time and recorded-time; graph add|query|predicate|invalidate|supersede|timeline|stats|entities|history; six memory_graph_* MCP tools. Store format v4, export-v2.
  • LongMemEval retrieval benchmark (#26): singularmem-bench longmemeval; published results in docs/benchmarks/longmemeval.md (hybrid R@5 0.981 on LongMemEval_S). Found and fixed a search bug: natural-language queries with :/-/quotes now parse leniently instead of failing.
  • MCP and Node surface (#27): memory_wakeup tool and wake-up prompt, memory_graph_entities/memory_graph_history, singularmem://memory/{id} resources, --project default (15 tools, 11 read-only); Node binding gains the graph API and wakeup.
  • Dependencies (#28, #29): rusqlite 0.40.2 (bundled SQLite 3.53.2); minimum supported Rust is now 1.85.

Breaking or notable changes

  • Store format is now v4; existing v2/v3 stores migrate automatically on first open (v1 stores migrate through the chain). Back up store.db before upgrading if you want a rollback path.
  • Export format is export-v2 (adds entity and fact lines; loaders must ignore unknown kinds).
  • Query::parse falls back to lenient parsing for syntax errors and prose-shaped field prefixes such as 10:30; an identifier-like unknown field (titel:foo) still errors.
  • Graph timestamps are stored at fixed nine-digit precision so string order equals chronological order.
  • MCP tool count is 15 (11 in --read-only); clients that pinned the old count must update.

Platforms

Prebuilt binaries: Linux x86_64, macOS x86_64 and arm64. Windows MSVC and Linux arm64 remain source-build only.
