Install / update using the gated-resources.zip asset below — not "Source code".

GitHub's source zip extracts to a version-suffixed folder (gated-resources-0.1.1), which WordPress treats as a different plugin on manual upload, creating a duplicate instead of updating. This release attaches a gated-resources.zip whose internal folder is always gated-resources/, so manual uploads and the in-dashboard auto-updater always install into the same folder.

  • CI now builds and attaches gated-resources.zip automatically on every release.
  • The update checker is configured to prefer this asset.
  • Includes the v0.1.1 Parsedown activation fix.

To consolidate an existing install: see the notes from your developer — deactivate, remove the duplicate gated-resources-* folder, and install this gated-resources.zip.
