This release is about the small things you touch a hundred times a day — finding your place in a long piece, moving a paragraph, catching a typo — and making each of them feel deliberate.

Find your way around a long document

Every document now has a live outline down the right edge of the page. Hover it and a card opens listing every heading, with the section you are currently reading marked as you scroll. Click an entry to jump straight there, or drag the rail to scrub through the whole piece.

Sections with headings under them fold, so you can collapse the parts you are not working in and keep the shape of the rest in view. The strip itself never changes when you fold — it stays an honest map of the whole document.

Turn it on or off from the command palette, the View menu, or Settings.

Spelling that respects your words

The writing surface now checks spelling as you type, using the system dictionary. Right-click a flagged word for corrections, or teach Skrive a word once and it stops asking — either just for you, or for everyone working in the project.

Code blocks are left alone entirely. Code is code, and checking stops at the fence.

Move blocks without aiming

Every block now has a handle in the left margin. Grab it to drag the block somewhere else, or use the + to insert above it. The whole gutter follows you down the page, so reordering a document is a matter of grabbing and dropping rather than selecting exactly the right range first.

Fixed

Find now highlights the right words. In documents with formatting or special characters, matches could land a few characters away from where the text actually sat.

Skrive quits immediately again — under some conditions the app could hang on quit instead of closing.

Undo after splitting a paragraph mid-sentence now repaints the block correctly.

The interface also got a consistency pass: shared corner radii, spacing, and controls that had drifted apart across screens.

As always, your writing stays in plain, portable files you own.
