💰 Is BRUTAL-FPS really free?

Yes — 100% free, forever. No premium version, no paywalls, no ads, no hidden costs. MIT-licensed, open source.

🛡️ Is it anti-cheat safe?

Yes. BRUTAL-FPS tunes operating-system settings (power plans, process priority, background tasks, network latency) — it does not inject into game processes or modify game files. It is compatible with Vanguard, EAC, BattlEye, VAC and friends.

⚠️ As with any performance tool, use it with normal caution and check the rules of any competitive game/platform you play.

📈 How much FPS will I gain?

Typically +30% to +60%, depending on your hardware and the mode: Balanced ≈ +30%, Performance ≈ +40%, Brutal ≈ +50%, Extreme ≈ +60%, Potato ≈ +45%, Silent ≈ +25%. The biggest gains come on low-end systems and through emulators.

📱 Does it work with emulators?

Yes — the app can optimize BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox Player, MEmu, GameLoop, SmartGaGa with one click (Emulators tab).

🎮 Can I add my own game?

Yes. Open 🎮 Games → ＋ Add Game, type the name, then 🎯 Optimize.

🔄 Will it reset my system settings?

By default BRUTAL-FPS can auto-restore original settings when you stop a boost (Settings → General → Auto restore). Keep this on if you want the tool to revert changes automatically.

🧠 Does it save my settings?

Yes — preferences, tweaks, optimized games/emulators and achievements are stored locally on your machine.

📦 Where do I download it?

The Releases page — installers for Windows, macOS and Linux (including the Kali package).

🧰 Is there a browser/standalone version?

Yes — public/brutal-fps-standalone.html is a self-contained version of the full dashboard and is what the desktop apps load too.
