CineSense 2.140.0
- Every Dropbox and Google Drive sign-in asks the service who it is (Dropbox's
account id and email, Drive's permissionId and email) and keeps it with the
account. The card names it:you@example.com · CineSense. - Sign in again to a different account is never silent. A dialog names
both — "This is a different Dropbox account (new@…) from the one Dropbox was
linked to (old@…)" — with Cancel (blue: nothing changes; sign out of
Dropbox in the browser first, then Sign in again) or Use as a New
Account (the old account is unlinked — its History stays, nothing on
either account is touched — and the new one is linked and tested). - An account linked before 2.140.0 learns who it is the first time Settings →
CloudSense is opened (its own token, refreshed with its own client), and its
next Sign in again compares with that. A link that was silently switched
before shows the account it is really linked to now; signing in again with
the original account asks first. - If the service cannot be asked (offline), the sign-in goes through as
before, is said as "could not ask which account", and nothing recorded is
erased; 2.138.1's size check still speaks after the test.
CineSense 2.129.2
- A linked Dropbox, Google Drive, Backblaze B2 or Amazon S3 account now
receives its sign-in or keys. Until this version none of them could connect,
whatever you did; a Storage Box was never affected. If you linked one
already, press Test again — there is nothing to re-link.
CineSense 2.129.1
- Opening CineSense from Downloads no longer adds a login item for a copy macOS deletes on restart. It starts at login once it is in your Applications folder — and if you choose "Not Now" on the move offer, it now says so.
- Click the CineSense icon in the menu bar for its menu; right-click it for the ingest panel (it was the other way round). The panel still appears by itself when a card goes in, and stays in the menu as Ingest Panel.
- CloudSense's panel: two clear icons switch between the big card and the compact list, a bigger gear opens its settings, and "Stay awake" (a moon and a switch) sits alone at the bottom. Clicking the upload line in the menu always opens the big card.
- A single large video uploads over one connection to a Storage Box or SFTP server, so a day of one big file goes slower than a day of many. The panel now says so when it happens, and Test connection shows that one-connection speed and what a single 100 GB file would take.
- Copy Diagnostics reports memory the way About This Mac does (a 64 GB Mac says 64 GB).
CineSense 2.129.0
- CineSense is now signed by Bryzr Studio and notarised by Apple: open it and macOS asks only the usual "downloaded from the internet — Open?". No Terminal commands, no System Settings detour.
- Opened from Downloads, CineSense offers to move itself into Applications, where it starts at login and updates install.
- Updates come by themselves: CineSense checks once a day, and a new version is a line at the top of its menu — nothing pops up. An update never installs while a card, a transfer or an upload is in progress; it waits, then CineSense relaunches by itself. Settings → About → Check for Updates checks now, and "Receive beta updates" offers test versions first.
- Something went wrong? Menu → Copy Diagnostics shows exactly what it will gather, can hide your card and folder names, and puts it all in a folder in Downloads for you to email to beta@bryzrstudio.com. CineSense never sends anything itself, and never includes footage, passwords or keys.
