Fixed SEO image dimensions stretching the product screenshots and brand
artwork vertically when CSS constrained their displayed width. -
Fixed the screenshot gallery cropping the left and right edges at narrow CSS
viewport widths by preserving each screenshot's natural aspect ratio. -

installation tab before scrolling to its instructions, including direct

Fixed Arch-family desktop updates (including CachyOS) closing Orynivo
immediately after starting PolicyKit. Orynivo now remains open while
pacman -Uruns, closes only after a successful installer exit, and reports
and logs authentication or package-manager failures. -
Fixed unified artist renaming so renaming either its local or remote identity
also renames matching identities in the local library and on configured
Orynivo Servers. A local merge decision now selects the equivalent surviving
identity for matching server-side merge collisions.

- Added a cancellable Settings action that searches sequentially for missing
artist images in the local library and every configured Orynivo Server. It
tries Fanart.tv first when an API key is configured, then falls back to
Wikimedia Commons, shows progress and an estimated remaining time, and
offers an API-key-gated option to accept Fanart.tv results automatically.
Wikimedia candidates always require explicit acceptance or rejection before
storing them in their owning library. - Added one cross-platform encrypted credential container for Last.fm,
Fanart.tv, AI Chat, Orynivo Server, Plex, and streaming-provider secrets.
Windows uses current-user DPAPI; Linux and macOS use AES-GCM with a separate
random key file restricted to the current OS user. Existing plaintext
settings.jsonsecrets and older Windows credential files are migrated
automatically, and remote track caches no longer persist authenticated URLs.

- Added Library > Review metadata to Settings. It detects
physically grouped folders split by inconsistent album titles or album artists,
missing titles or track numbers, and duplicate track numbers. A folder can
also be identified directly from the Folder structure context menu. Orynivo
performs a fuzzy MusicBrainz CD-TOC lookup from track count and durations,
presents ranked releases for confirmation. Album and artist search terms are
editable before every lookup, allowing tag wording such asBravo Hits Vol. 42
to be simplified toBravo Hits 42while track count and durations still
validate the result.
Orynivo stores the selected titles, artists, album,
numbering, and MusicBrainz IDs as library-only overrides that survive scans
without modifying audio-file tags.

- Fixed Linux desktop updates being unavailable or attempting to treat the
downloaded package as an executable file. Orynivo now selects the signed
DEB, RPM, or Arch package for the current distribution and requests the
required package-manager privileges through PolicyKit; CachyOS uses the
verified Arch package withpacman. - Fixed metadata correction returning no candidates whenever one local or
MusicBrainz track duration was unavailable. Release lookup now combines exact
and relaxed title searches, ranks candidates using title similarity plus all
available duration evidence, and includes non-CD MusicBrainz media in fuzzy
TOC matching. - Fixed Back navigation restoring Artists or Albums from the local database
alone. Restored mixed-library views now run through the normal unified
local/server loader, retain the selected source when numeric IDs collide, and
restore the selected search result plus the search page's scroll position. - Fixed album-cover and artist-profile refreshes collapsing an already unified
Artists or Albums view back to local-only rows.

- The Dashboard now suggests albums from local and Orynivo Server libraries by
matching album genres against the selected listening-history period. Users can
choose the last week, last month, or all history and bias the ranking toward a
relaxed, energetic, happy, or melancholic mood. Recommendations default to a
tall animated cover stage with perspective-angled neighboring albums and
circular navigation; a persisted List/Stage switch restores the user's choice. - Album and artist detail views can now upload local image files directly into
Orynivo's artwork caches. Adjacent trash actions delete album covers or artist
images for local and Orynivo Server libraries, with unified artist-image
changes synchronized across matching sources.

- Added optional Fanart.tv artist thumbnails. Orynivo uses embedded MusicBrainz
artist IDs when available, otherwise accepts only an unambiguous exact
MusicBrainz match, and selects the highest-rated HTTPSartistthumb.
Manually selected images remain protected. The personal API key is
session-only in Settings or can be supplied throughFANART_TV_API_KEY; it
is never written tosettings.json, logs, server requests, or model context.

- Artist browsing is now album-artist-centered: explicit
ALBUMARTISTtags take
precedence, untagged albums are reconciled across all of their tracks, and
compilations or albums with differing inferred track artists are grouped
underVarious Artists. Primary track artists remain attached to their
tracks without automatically cluttering the Artists view. - MusicBrainz artist IDs now participate in local artist identity matching, so
differently spelled tags carrying the same stable ID resolve to one artist.
Existing libraries receive a one-time attribution metadata refresh during
their next scan.

- macOS now finds FFmpeg and FFprobe installed in common Homebrew, MacPorts,
pkgsrc, Fink, and per-user locations even when Finder launches Orynivo with a
minimalPATH. When neither tool is installed, Orynivo downloads matching
Intel or Apple Silicon builds into its per-user cache. - macOS application bundles now include an
Orynivo.icnsapplication icon and
declare it inInfo.plist, so Finder, the Dock, and Launchpad can display the
Orynivo icon. - The shared Folder structure navigation item now remains available when no
local library directory is configured but at least one Orynivo Server is
present, allowing server folders to be browsed as the only library source.

(osx-arm64). The Avalonia player now uses the macOS system OpenAL framework
for PCM playback and publishes self-containedOrynivo.appbundles as

architecture-specific package is included in the signed release manifest. - Added signed automatic desktop updates on macOS. Startup and About-window
checks now select the architecture-matchingosx-arm64orosx-x64PKG,

- Hidden the Steinberg ASIO and cwASIO subsystem badges on macOS and Linux,
where those Windows-only bridges cannot be used. - Added the missing Appearance setting for hiding or showing the AI Chat
sidebar item. The choice is persisted and applied immediately with the other
sidebar visibility options. - Avoided repeated macOS Skia/Metal shader-compilation timeouts on gradients
and rounded surfaces by selecting Avalonia's OpenGL renderer with a software
fallback on macOS. Windows and Linux renderer selection is unchanged. - Settings now shows Steinberg ASIO and cwASIO availability only on Windows.
Linux direct-ALSA device information probes and reports native
DSD_U32_BEand DoP support for each DSD level, and explicitly reports when
the device is busy or its DSD capabilities cannot be queried. OpenAL profiles
are identified as PCM-only and point users to direct ALSA for DSD playback.
The enlarged capability window performs read-only ALSA hardware-parameter
checks, avoiding console errors for unsupported high sample rates. - Prevented Orynivo Server library scans from appearing stuck on large or
chaptered media by disabling missing-ReplayGain FFmpeg analysis by default;
deployments can opt back in through configuration. - Bounded Matroska chapter probing to 30 seconds per file and limited FFprobe's
analysis window so a malformed or slow network-hosted MKA cannot stall the
complete server scan indefinitely.
