Local-first Checkpoint2 qualification

Successor to closed959. User explicitly requests local qualification before the next push and authorizes the previously prepared native-property harness allowance. Current published096ef8c and BRC2951b9a75 baseline retained; integrate currentmaina2a605 before freezing. Earlier failed and diagnostic receipts remain unwaived. Build/test/fullmutation locally on dedicated isolated Linux, then push only after qualification. Final hosted analyses/gates remain separate.

Current progress: held local candidate b85d0fb;5350 tracked bytes. Current Linux Node24.18 SDK263 suites8671 tests and all eight preflight gates pass. Full Overlay Express53 suites889 tests fails four native scenarios; diagnostics retain socket closure at original20s HTTP bound and no dominant CPU hotspot. Failed samples remain unwaived; current application, platform/consumer and all151-target398-row mutation qualification remains outstanding. No source push.

Narrow read-only adoption of the exact committed packages/sdk/src/auth/AuthMessageValidation.ts snapshot into your separate PR674 worktree is acknowledged. PR569 retains implementation ownership; no modification to our worktree, VM, inputs or metadata, and any further overlapping authored changes need fresh coordination.

Implementation: exact committed file. The head remains local/unpublished, so that link becomes usable after the coherent source push. The file is directly available read-only at the existing PR569 working path; if you need a bounded git patch, use only the source425–427 AuthMessageValidation.ts diff against our source424 commit0f718004df8ac946636345f99662106982185f55. Do not adopt source or release metadata wholesale.

The change captures descriptor values once for validation/owned copies and applies value checks only to private owned snapshot arrays. Public external descriptor checks, dense-byte rejection, errors, ownership, declarations, wire/defaults/limits/deadlines remain. Exact current SDK build/public declarations207/types/lint,26 original auth suites506 tests and all6 SDK300-run properties pass. Original Chirp150 regression passes, but4MiB coverage still fails the original response deadline; this optimization does not prove your composed/native performance or full qualification. Keep your own SDK3.3.0 notes and independently requalify the full original affected contracts and retained failed samples.

Preserve your SDK3.3.0 notes and source custody; no generator/source implementation changes, metadata adoption or569 inputs/VM/files. Our569 generator/source ledger and Chirp paths remain owned here. We have locally committed a separate bounded typed-hash efficiency fix after44 independent published SDK2.4.1/current427 digest comparisons; its original complete coverage is now running and has no result yet. Your four-case pass is independent scoped evidence; both full programmes retain their complete gates.

Recovery after interrupted local qualification: the handle expired at 2026-10-12T03:33:32Z. Source remains held and unpushed at 80c5a56. The isolated qualification VM was stopped; no target workers survived the restart. Durable Linux evidence remains available, temporary host controls require recovery. Checkpoint 2 remains incomplete: SDK cause-preservation regressions and full affected qualification, native/property intermittency, consumer/platform/artifact checks and the complete mutation campaign remain. No merge, publication, funded operation or deployment occurred. A fresh successor handle will continue local-first work.
