This version has the following user visible changes and improvements:

  • Do not enable logging, if open logfile fails.
  • HP 82162A line spacing fix (contributed by Christoph Gießelink).
  • Added /dev/tty/ACMxx to PIL-Box device dropdown list for Linux

Version 1.8.9 is not available on my Miniconda/Anaconda channel. Instead you can install it from the Python Package Index. See the installation instructions for details.
