MW2 x Risk of Rain 2 v0.4.4, for Risk of Rain 2's October 8, 2026 update.

What's new: co-op between a mod-manager install and a manual install desynced (players ended up
on boss bodies). RoR2BepInExPack, which every mod manager installs, changes how Risk of Rain 2
numbers its content, and the manual zip didn't have it. The manual zip now includes RoR2BepInExPack,
and the lobby warns in chat when two players' games don't line up.

Manual installs: update this one. Extract the new -manual.zip over your old install, the same
way you installed it. Mod-manager installs already had RoR2BepInExPack; they only need the new version
for the version check.

Good to know:

• Choose Class (F4) follows MW2's rule: right after you spawn the class changes on the spot; once
  you've fought, it comes with your next spawn. One Man Army is the mid-fight change.
• Tactical Insertion is on X (C is MW2's crouch, and the mod uses your MW2 binds).
• Stuck in the level? F6 turns MW2 mode off so you can walk out, and F6 again turns it back on.

Install: MW2xRoR2 on Thunderstore
with any Risk of Rain 2 mod manager (search for MW2xRoR2), or the -manual.zip below. The
README has the steps.

You need Risk of Rain 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) on Steam, with MW2's multiplayer
content. No game files are included.

In co-op, everyone needs this same version. It's experimental: the README's

What's new: the download no longer includes the developer test tools (the automated playtest
runner, the clip recorder used for the showcase reel, the test admin panel and the F9/F10 debug
keys). None of them could be turned on in normal play, and nothing changes in play. MW2 mode also no
longer keeps switching god mode off, so god mode from other mods works alongside it.
