Caution
⚠️ Beware of Fake FluentCleaner Websites
FluentCleaner has no affiliation with fluentcleaner.org.
The only official source for FluentCleaner is this GitHub repository. I do not own, operate, or endorse that website or any other third-party download site.
For your safety, only download FluentCleaner from the official releases published here on GitHub.
A polished website doesn't make it official, always verify the source. 🛡️
- [Added] Rule Lab. A new way to look under the hood of any cleaning rule before you run it
- Right-click a cleaner > Show source, or hit Test while building your own, the Lab opens up, rules on the left, results on the right
- Edit the rules however you like, hit Dry Run, and watch exactly which files and registry keys they'd match. Nothing gets deleted, nothing gets written, its a read-only preview, so you can tweak and test as much as you want without touching a thing. Found a rule somewhere and not sure what it does? Paste it in, run it, see for yourself

-
[Added] Protected paths (safety net)
- Browser extension databases are now always skipped during cleaning, no matter what the database rules say. Fixes password managers and other extensions (1Password, Bitwarden, uBlock) breaking after a Web Storage clean #89
- Only extension storage (IndexedDB\chrome-extension_*) is spared. Normal website storage is still cleaned as before.
- This works across every Chromium browser and in silent /AUTO mode, and survives database updates.
- New View protected paths link under Settings > Global exclusions shows exactly what's protected.
-
[Added] Norwegian translation

Optional: download this Custom.zip asset for additional tools.

Important
FluentCleaner is and will always be free - but it's built solo, nights and weekends, fueled by coffee and stubbornness.
Learning WinUI 3 from scratch and turning this into a real app was a ride.
If it saves you time or you just want to say thanks - a small donation genuinely helps keep this going ☕
Thank you for using it. It means a lot. ❤️
