DeltaCE 1.9: statistics.

more → Statistics:

  • Your data in two columns, x and y: type values in place (enter or an arrow keeps one, del deletes; edit inserts, deletes, sorts by x, clears). They are the lists L1 and L2, so mean(L1) works in the console too.
  • x stats / y stats: a box plot and n, mean, sum, sample and population standard deviation, min, Q1, median, Q3, max (quartiles the TI's way).
  • fit: linear, quadratic, cubic (exact when the data are: y = 33/7 x + 324/7), exponential, power, logarithmic, with r and r², a predicted y, and graph: the points with the curve, traced point by point. plot: the points alone.
  • The statistics commands (mean, median, stdDev, linear_regression, ...) are in the command search; median is exact.

Fixed: leaving a screen with clear could make the next calculations fail; the more menu covered the status bar.

Install: from the DeltaCE page in Chrome or Edge, or send DeltaCE.b84 with TI Connect CE. For the TI-84 Plus CE and TI-83 Premium CE on OS 5.3 to 5.8.4; installing erases the calculator's apps and archived files.

DeltaCE 1.8

Choose a tag to compare

@bupfff bupfff released this 18 Oct 19:57

DeltaCE 1.8: a look of its own, and the action row.

  • A new look. A teal status bar (deep teal in Night), the F-key bar tinted teal, and the answer shown large on a card, with your input as its caption.
  • The action row. Under an answer in a letter, its three likeliest next steps: Derivative, Integral, Graph for a function of sin, ln, √…; Factor (or Expand), Solve = 0, Graph otherwise; more lists all nine. ▶ selects, ◀ ▶ move, enter does it, clear leaves the row. enter with nothing selected still shows the steps.
  • Fixed: a parametric, polar or slope-field graph drawn after a y = f(x) graph with a domain end (like ln x) showed a stray line from the previous graph.
  • Answers redraw as fast as 1.7's or faster; a 220-input class session runs 1.4% faster, with the same answers.

Install: from the DeltaCE page in Chrome or Edge, or send DeltaCE.b84 with TI Connect CE (see the README). For the TI-84 Plus CE and TI-83 Premium CE on OS 5.3 to 5.8.4; installing erases the calculator's apps and archived files.
