🚀 Goodbye adsb2loki, Hello adsb2otel!
Wait, why the name change? Originally, this tool was built to go straight into Loki. It did the job, but it was a bit of a "walled garden." We realized that ADSB data is too cool to be locked into just one database.

What’s in it for you?

Freedom! You aren't tied to Loki anymore. You can ship your aircraft data to any backend that supports OpenTelemetry (which is pretty much all of them these days).

Play well with others: If you're already running an observability stack, adsb2otel will slot right in like a missing puzzle piece.

The bottom line: We want this to be the easiest way to get flight data into your favorite dashboard, not just our favorite dashboard.

⚠️ Heads up: This is a breaking change! Since we’ve swapped the "Loki-pipe" for an "OTel-pipe," you’ll need to update your config. It’s a small price to pay for total observability freedom, right?
