SuperX 1.1.0

Choose when new fact-checks begin, while keeping existing answers available.

Download the extension · Source ZIP

What's new

  • Automatic / Custom / Pause in the popup and Settings. Custom supports a post-header SuperX button, button or post hover, and separate detail-page main-post/reply rules.
  • Less repeated work. Matching cached answers appear in every mode without a new model request. Mode changes and tab switching preserve accepted work.
  • Clear hover feedback. The logo fills left to right during the configured wait. Its colors and hover background match the adjacent native Grok button.
  • Smoother replies and more reliable images. Balanced reply-button spacing, hidden-page-content fixes, and correct handling of extensionless X video-cover image URLs.

New custom preferences enable the button, both one-second hover rules and detail-page main-post checks; reply auto-checks start off. Existing choices remain unchanged. Custom triggers control new work, not the display of cached answers. An explicit recheck can use additional allowance.

Install or update

Extract SuperX-1.1.0.zip (or the identical SuperX.zip) into your existing extension folder, reload the extension, then refresh X. Do not load the source ZIP as the extension. Avoid running unpacked and store copies together.

GitHub Stable is now 1.1.0. The Chrome Web Store update is submitted separately and is not yet published there. The same versioned installation ZIP is the store-upload package.

Validation

  • Source: 716bfa885984d43699734271834d8527159efbdd.
  • 1,262 automated checks; 196 isolated browser checks.
  • Windows, macOS and Linux CI and release packaging passed.
  • Installation SHA-256: f31914ad56cb4052f005cd6d30491a924f582c33f977b6dd1fad941b07a52268.

Automated checks do not certify every model, account or platform. Account allowance and charges still apply. Existing media-discovery edge cases and the separate security-hardening proposal remain follow-up work; see the release report.

Thanks

Thanks to @0xDenji-Ai (#1), @risingjerry (#4), and @ArronKong (#5) for proposals that informed these independently implemented changes. Thanks also to @PG2047 (#3) for the deferred security review and @s4ndr1ver (#2) for the separate provider proposal. None of those PRs was merged as code for this release.
