Sidebar conversation browser

Expand any session in the sidebar to browse its conversation — every line you submitted (a shell command or an agent prompt) becomes a turn you can click into.

  • Shell turns open the command with its captured output.
  • Agent turns (claude / codex) open the clean conversation, read from the agent's own transcript file — not the terminal's full-screen redraw noise.
  • Turns are kept in memory only and never logged; text typed at a no-echo secret prompt (passwords, OTPs) is never captured.

Universal build — one download for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Signed, notarized, and stapled: open the DMG, drag Byline into Applications, no Gatekeeper warnings.
