Menu bar push-to-talk dictation for macOS.

Install

1. Unzip and drag splaude.app to /Applications
2. Clear the quarantine flag, then open it:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/splaude.app
open /Applications/splaude.app

Step 2 is required. This build is ad-hoc signed, not notarized —
shipping a notarized build needs a paid Apple Developer account.
Without clearing quarantine, Gatekeeper refuses to launch it.

Because the signature is ad-hoc, its identity changes on every
release, so macOS treats each update as a new app: expect to grant
Accessibility again after upgrading.

First run

It needs a signed-in Claude Code install — run claude in a terminal
once if you have not. Three grants are prompted: Microphone,
Accessibility, and Keychain access to the Claude Code credential
(choose Always Allow so it stops asking).

Requires macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon.
