- Couldn't delete a recording that had been played ("file in use"). The built-in audio player kept the recording's audio file (e.g.
mic.flac) open, so deleting the recording — from the app, or even by hand in Explorer — failed with "file in use" on Windows. Cadence now releases the audio file handle when you leave a recording's player and again right before a delete, and the delete retries briefly in case the OS frees the handle a moment later.
Local-first meeting recorder, transcriber & voice toolkit for Windows. Installer (Cadence-Setup-0.2.16.exe) recommended; portable build also attached. Unsigned — SmartScreen may warn → More info → Run anyway.
