Desktop File Listing Reliability

  • Added a versioned local SQLite file inventory so previously scanned folders render immediately while Telegram reconciliation continues in the background.
  • Correlated file-list chunks with their originating request and cooperatively cancelled stale scans, preventing older refreshes from clearing or overwriting newer results.
  • Reduced initial chunk latency and preserved visible cached rows when Telegram is slow or temporarily unavailable.
  • Kept the local inventory synchronized after file uploads, renames, moves, deletions, and activity-flag changes.

Linux Startup and Refresh Performance

  • Removed repeated focus-driven account rescans and added a six-hour folder-discovery freshness window with an explicit manual refresh path.
  • Reused verified folder metadata and peer discovery results instead of repeating expensive full-channel requests on every startup.
  • Added timing diagnostics for file scans, folder discovery, and transcode-cache reconciliation to make platform-specific performance measurable.

Preferences and Transcode Cache

  • Persisted file sort field and direction across restarts and synchronized them with the existing settings profile.
  • Replaced synchronous transcode-cache traversal with an immediate snapshot backed by single-flight background reconciliation.
  • Removed the misleading 12-second cache failure path, retained the last healthy snapshot during refresh, and made background cleanup safe around newly started transcodes.

Compatibility and Verification

  • Existing Telegram sessions, supporter entitlements, encrypted-file records, folder mappings, and synchronization settings remain compatible.
  • All 114 frontend tests and all 139 Rust library tests passed.
  • Production frontend compilation, Rust formatting, and release diff validation passed.
