Twelve testers wanted — to get the BookDB companion app onto Google Play. Google will not let a personal developer account list an app until twelve people have been opted into a closed test for fourteen straight days. If you have an Android phone and already run BookDB on a computer, helping is about ten minutes of work and then two weeks of forgetting about it. The app is already released and installable as an APK, and will stay that way — this is a distribution formality, not a beta of something unfinished. What it involves, and how to volunteer: #1

- Installing on Windows now brings the whole runtime BookDB needs. 4.0 added the companion service, which needs the ASP.NET Core runtime alongside the base .NET runtime, but the winget package asked for only the base one — so a machine without the rest was left to be prompted for it on first launch. Nothing about the app itself has changed: if BookDB already starts for you, there is nothing here you need.
