Unable to login on the app with an EU account

Issue Summary

I installed the Android app, signed up (on the browser) with EU region with an email (not Google). Now I when I try to log in into the app, I get an error for incorrect credentials. However, when instead of "app.cal.com", I log in into app.cal.eu, I can log in. But from the app, I always get directed to app.cal.com.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install cal.com Android app
2. Clicked on Sign Up
3. Selected European Union in the dropdown as the region
4. Created a password for my account
5. Verified the account from my email address
6. Opened the Android app again
7. Clicked on "Continue with cal.com"
8. Entered the email address and password.
   At this point, I get an error about incorrect credentials.

Any other relevant information. For example, why do you consider this a bug and what did you expect to happen instead?
Either at the first screen of the app, the user should be able to switch between EU and US regions or depending on the email address with which the account has been created, the regions should be picked automatically.

Actual Results

• What's happening right now that is different from what is expected
  Unable to log into the app because app.cal.com is the default when signing in without the ability to change the URL to app.cal.eu

Expected Results

Ability to log in on the app irrespective of the region

Two other students and myself are part of a Software Evolution course at the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. We need an open source project to contribute to, and we three like cal.com (although we are not too familiar with the software). We are looking for an issue that touches on 2-4 production files and of about Medium scope . If you think this issue is acceptable for us to take on, can you assisgn me with the understanding that it might take about a month to get the corresponding PR?

I'm encountering the same exact issue on ios 1.0.4

It says my account is not existing since i don't have an account on .com but on .eu

Can you please resolve this ?

Update from my side . When logging in from the app I get to app.cal.com . There’s no way to select eu region. When I click on don’t have an account , then European Union, then sign in , I finally get to app.cal.eu
After login I can access my account but only on the login popup , not really on the app . The login popup doesn’t “kill” because I logged in

I am having the same issue on the app. I can use the mobile to login thorough the browser, but it always says wrong user or password when I try to use the app. Ask for a new password also sends no email... Just now I realize that cal.com and cal.eu are not connected but the app always opens cal.com.

Same here, iOS, you got to be kidding me. An company this size locks out half their users because of zero QA after an update. My god. What a failure.

edit: tap the signin with google, go back, then bottom left sais, sign up, then select european union and then select login again. Should temporarily do it.

edit 2: nevermind stays in that frame.

Same issue for the mac desktop app. Cannot login with my cal.eu credentials. Says no user exists
