⚡ OptimizeKit v2.0.0 — Windows Gaming Control Center

The biggest update yet: a complete UI overhaul with a new Gaming Center, instant tweak switches, animated boot splash, 6 accent themes and multi-store game detection.

✨ Highlights

🎮 Gaming Center — your machine scored 0–100 from the real state of gaming settings, with category cards (Performance / Latency / Background / Rendering / Storage) and every gaming switch grouped & one click away.

🎚️ Instant tweak switches — the Tweaks page is now a wall of iOS-style switches: click = apply (with registry snapshot + animated progress overlay), click again = restore Windows default. Live applied-count badge in the sidebar.

✨ Splash & animations — boot sequence (hardware → Windows → tweaks → network), animated apply overlay with per-step results, view transitions, theme picker with 6 accent colors (persisted).

🕹️ Multi-store game detection — Steam, Epic (VALORANT, Fortnite…), Riot, GOG, plus registry scan. Real icons extracted from the executables, per-game boost profiles.

🌐 Network Center — MTU slider with presets (Ethernet/PPPoE/VPN/Jumbo) + new /api/net/mtu, locale-proof parsing (works on French/German/… Windows), profiles, latency monitor.

🛠️ Fixes

  • game ids are now exe-name based (profiles + icon cache safe)
  • quoted DisplayIcon registry values handled
  • DNS status trailing newline trimmed
  • startup disable on HKLM shows a clear admin-required message
  • exe icon + version 2.0.0 metadata

📥 Install

  1. Download OptimizeKit.exe below (static, ~6 MB, no dependencies)
  2. Put it anywhere with the web/ folder from the zip (or just run it — the dashboard embeds everything)
  3. Double-click OptimizeKit-user.bat for the standard dashboard, or OptimizeKit-admin.bat for every tweak

Every tweak remains one-click reversible — registry backups land in %LOCALAPPDATA%\OptimizeKit\ before any change.

⚠️ Some tweaks (HAGS, timer resolution, power plans, network stack) require elevation — that's what OptimizeKit-admin.bat is for.
