@can821 can821 released this 07 Oct 00:25

First beta pre-release: smaller independently verified Node.js/npm reproductions with debugging evidence.

  • Five documented historical functional regressions across Day.js, object-inspect, Zod and markdown-it.
  • File, dependency, workspace and input reduction; multi-file JS/TS AST source reduction and iterative convergence.
  • Passing/failing execution-region evidence with conservative TypeScript source mapping.
  • Opt-in repeated-run thresholds for intermittent target failures, with checkpoint/resume.
  • Git/dependency boundary tooling and integrity-checked portable .rcap.gz capsules.

Validation: Ubuntu and macOS Node 24 checks, historical validation, real TypeScript proof and npm pack --dry-run passed for commit 6301a9f. Verified CI run.

Limitations: external application diversity remains limited; reductions may stop at budgets. Changed-source execution regions are not automatically aligned. Intermittent fix verification is unsupported. Runtime comparison has limited real-version evidence; Node 22 is not supported. Evidence does not establish root cause or global minimality. Commands execute with user permissions.
