Synphony Community Edition was developed by Canada Institute of Linguistics (CanIL). In October 2016, CanIL released the software and code to the public domain under Creative Commons Zero.

To the extent possible under law, Canada Institute of Linguistics has waived all copyright and related or neighboring rights to Synphony software and code. This work is published from: Canada.
