Since this is experimental, I suggest that the treatment of keystrokes be easily changeable.
Some experimenters might name and suggest particular sets of keyboard command spellings.
Perhaps meta keys could avoid aome conflicts.
Could the space bar be used as a meta key? It’s easy to type while holding it down.
