New major version has v1-compatible inputs/outputs

The validator under the hood was changed to schemasafe validator which is more strict and can cause some schema compilation errors comparing to v1 version of the action. To get rid of these errors try using mode: lax

• meta-schemas are built-in, now you can validate your schemas against metaschemas
• new mode input to regulate the strictness of the schema validation
• new inputs to provide schemas needed for resolving external $refs added
