Fixed

• Ubuntu with VS Code installed as a Snap: the hub didn't start (GLIBC_2.33 not found), because the Snap ships Ubuntu 20.04 libraries. Session Hub now checks, without blocking the editor, that its runtime can load the encryption modules. If it can't, it uses the system Node, with the original environment rather than the Snap's. If no usable Node exists, you get a clear notice with the fix instead of a stack trace. The same applies to old editors with Node older than 22.5.

Documentation

• Platform requirements in the manual: Linux needs glibc 2.33 or later (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 34+); Alpine (musl) and 32-bit Linux are not supported; Remote-SSH, WSL and Dev Containers are not yet tested.

On 0.9.2 with the Snap? Install Node.js 22.5+ and set sessionHub.nodePath to it, or install VS Code from Microsoft's .deb — or just update to 0.9.3 and install Node.js.

Updating from 0.8.x or earlier: close all editor windows and reopen — the new extension replaces an old hub that may still be running. 0.8.1 froze Cursor when opening settings from the panel; 0.8.2 and 0.9.0 fix it.

New: automatic conversations

Your AI and a teammate's AI talk on their own — no one presses Send.

• Works through Claude Code (Stop) and Cursor (stop) hooks: when a turn ends, session-hub-hook hands the agent the other side's reply so it continues.
• Both people consent: signed invitation the other side accepts or declines. If your AI asks for one via MCP (start_conversation), you confirm it in the editor first.
• Limits: turns (6) and minutes (10), loop detection, and ■ Stop for both. Messages arrive framed as information from another session; the agent keeps its permissions. If anything fails, the hook does nothing — it never hangs the agent.
• Hooks are installed with your consent, keep your existing hooks and settings, back up the originals, and can be removed with one click.
• The first message to an idle chat needs one click (Pass to my AI); no tool allows waking an idle chat from outside.

• Cursor froze (and could crash) when opening settings from the panel.
• Updating kept using the previous hub, showing the backup at zero.
• Windows: Cursor sessions weren't found; Claude Code sessions could be dropped by drive-letter case.
• Cursor sessions showed undefined messages.
• Full translation (logs, MCP, status), enforced by a test.

Tu IA y la de un compañero conversan solas, sin que nadie pulse Enviar.

• Funciona con los hooks de Claude Code (Stop) y Cursor (stop): al terminar cada turno, session-hub-hook le entrega al agente la respuesta del otro para que siga.
• Consentimiento de los dos: invitación firmada que el otro acepta o rechaza. Si la pide tu IA por MCP (start_conversation), tú la confirmas en el editor antes.
• Límites: vueltas (6) y minutos (10), detector de bucles y ■ Detener para los dos. Los mensajes llegan enmarcados como información de otra sesión; el agente conserva sus permisos. Si algo falla, el hook no hace nada: nunca cuelga al agente.
• Los hooks se instalan con tu permiso, conservan tus hooks y ajustes, guardan una copia de los originales y se quitan con un clic.
• El primer mensaje a un chat quieto necesita un clic (Pasar a mi IA): ninguna herramienta deja despertar un chat inactivo desde fuera.

Read copies of your teammates' sessions let you read them offline (💾 copy from…) — only while you still have access; owners can turn copies off (sessionHub.allowTeamCopies). Delete from backup, export a session to Markdown/JSON or export all to a folder, and Only me (backup) in Who sees it.
• Tabbed panel (Sessions · Messages · Team · Privacy · Status), sessions grouped by project, and search + paging on every list.
• Pass to my AI leaves the message typed (never sent) in Claude Code, Copilot or Cursor's chat — the active one, or the one you choose once (sessionHub.aiChat).

• Security: a non‑shared folder whose path encodes like a shared one (/x/my.app vs /x/my-app) could be seen. Sessions are now assigned by the folder they started in.
• Projects with the same name are no longer mixed: every result carries a projectKey (hash of the git remote; same repo = same key).
• MCP in Cursor: token in the URL and a single registration for all windows. Stable local token; Status warns if Claude Code's connection is out of date and Connect Claude Code repairs it.
• list_sessions / search_sessions for "me" returned nothing or one result.

• Messages between teammates. Write to a teammate — or to one of their open AI sessions — from the panel (✉ Write) or by asking your AI.
  • Signed with your key and verified by the recipient's hub.
  • Held by default until the recipient approves it. Pass to my AI opens their AI chat with the message framed as from a teammate, not an order. Nothing runs by itself.
  • Offline? Queued up to 24 h. Receipts: held / delivered / read / dismissed. Replies are linked to the original.
  • Settings sessionHub.inboundMessages (hold / accept / refuse) and sessionHub.notifyMessages.
• Open sessions: each person's card shows their live AI sessions (Claude Code · api · busy, Cursor · web · recently active), only in projects shared with you.
• MCP tools list_agents, send_message, check_inbox.
• MCP health check: the extension tests MCP the way your AI would; if it fails it shows up in Status and notifies you once with Restart.
• Clearer MCP instructions: asking for a teammate's "doc", "session" or "conversation" now leads the AI to Session Hub first.
