XTermX for Mac — network tools, services and shared clipboard (202610221458)
Updated open-source XTermX Mac development build, including:
- Network tools. Network diagnostics on the Mac, the process holding a port (with a re-check before quitting it), and Wake-on-LAN for a sleeping Mac.
- Dev servers and SSH. Preview dev servers running in panes over the paired connection, import hosts from
~/.ssh/configwith a checked preview, connect through ProxyJump hops, and forward SSH ports. - Notifications and services. Choose per channel which notices go where (webhook, ntfy and more), get told when a long command fails or finishes, and check web addresses and ports on a schedule from Settings › Services.
- Shared clipboard. Share clipboard text with devices that opt in, and let programs copy with OSC 52 once allowed.
- Files and addresses. Files dropped on an SSH pane upload into the shell's folder; paired devices follow the Mac's live addresses.
- Fixes. An agent's approval card goes away when answered in the terminal; programs in the Mac's own panes can set the clipboard again.

XTermX for Mac — pane redraw and clean remote-access restart (202610210925)
Updated open-source XTermX Mac development build, including:
- Panes draw again when they appear. A pane's program is asked to redraw whenever its view appears (switching workspaces, reopening a window), and a layout that settled before the view was ready now reaches the terminal, so panes no longer stay blank or at the wrong size.
- Remote access restarts cleanly. The app's sockets are no longer inherited by the shells it starts, so turning remote access off and on again no longer finds its port still busy.
Universal Apple Silicon + Intel Release binary; macOS 15+. Shared suite: 217 tests in 56 suites reported passing with optional external probes skipped. Mounted-image, signature and published-download checks verify the artifact. Intel runtime and Linux runtime testing are not claimed.

XTermX for Mac — workspace composer and whole links (202610191300)
Updated open-source XTermX Mac development build, including:
- New workspace composer. Pick a working folder (or a recent one), choose how many panes each installed AI agent and plain terminal gets, and preview the balanced pane grid before starting. Claude Code and Codex conversations started in that folder are listed and can be resumed into panes; options cover the shell for plain terminals, a separate Git worktree per agent pane, and running agents without permission prompts.
- Links stay whole. Copying text rejoins URLs that full-screen programs (Claude Code, tmux) broke across rows with a real newline, and panes advertise
FORCE_HYPERLINK=1so Node CLIs emit clickable OSC 8 links. - Pointing hand over links while Command or Control is held.

XTermX for Mac — wheel scrolling and 1 GB SSH uploads (202610190910)
Updated open-source XTermX Mac development build, including:
- Mouse wheel and trackpad scrolling in apps that capture the mouse (tmux, vim, less with mouse mode) now goes to the app as wheel events, separately from click/selection capture. Smooth trackpad deltas and momentum are kept; scrolling no longer turns into arrow-key presses. While text is selected, or when the app has no mouse mode, scrolling moves through local history.
- SSH file uploads up to 1 GB. The Files panel now streams the selected file from disk over SFTP instead of loading it into memory. Downloads stay limited to 64 MB per file. Existing remote files are still never overwritten.

Updated open-source XTermX Mac development build, including:
- Check for updates… in the XTermX menu and Settings → About → Updates.
- Optional daily checks, a development-release channel control, and one notification per available version/build. GitHub receives normal network connection information; terminal content, credentials and machine IDs are not sent.
- Version/build and minimum macOS checks; failed requests are reported separately from a successful check. Updates are reviewed and downloaded manually; terminals are never restarted by the checker.
- Command/Control-click opens existing local files with their default app and folders in Finder, alongside web links. Spaces, Unicode and filename characters are preserved through proper file URLs.
