Release Notes

Highlights:

• First public version of LicenseGuard.
• Can do very basic per-dependency identification with ChatGPT-4o-mini via the POST /llm/guess route. Expect to manually write these dependencies out!
• Self-hostable via Docker with minimal config.

What's Inside:

• / (GET): Returns a JSON response with a message that says "Hello World!"
• /llm/guess (POST): Takes a string (the prompt to the LLM) as its body. The LLM expects a prompt that lists Python packages. Returns a JSON response that guesses the licenses of the packages mentioned in the prompt.
• FastAPI-based service that's ready to run in a container!

How to Run
