Restore Nature
What /restorenature actually does
It's a golden shovel mode, not an instant command. Run the command → your shovel switches modes → right-click a block and it restores the area centred on that block. /basicclaims to exit.
All three modes run the same six passes over the area:
- Delete floating dirt/grass/snow/logs with air underneath
- Delete anything on the player-placed block list
- Delete thin walls — a solid block with air on both opposite sides
- Fill air pockets below the surface with dirt (netherrack/end stone in other dims) where 3+ neighbours are solid
- Re-cap the surface — exposed dirt/stone/cobble/gravel becomes grass, sand in desert/beach, red sand in badlands, mycelium in mushroom; stone under it becomes dirt
- Delete floating blocks again
Vertically it goes the full world height. It also clears loose entities in the area and shows you the affected region for 5 seconds.
/restorenature (/rn) — 11×11 area. Removes the standard build-block list: torches, chests, planks, wool, glass, rails, doors, fences, beds, stone bricks, cobblestone, obsidian, spawners, farmland, TNT, etc. Skips any block still inside a claim. In a creative-rules world it additionally strips ores, melons/pumpkins and bedrock.
/restorenatureaggressive (/rna) — same 11×11, but:
- Ignores claims entirely — it edits claimed blocks too
- Adds logs and leaves to the removal list, so trees get wiped
- Adds ores, melons/pumpkins and bedrock even in survival worlds
- Also deletes floating stone and grass blocks
Don't use it under anything you want to keep.
/restorenaturefill [radius] (/rnf) — in GP3D it is normal mode with an adjustable radius, nothing more. Radius defaults to 2 and clamps to 1–10, so /rnf 10 gives you a 21×21 area instead of 11×11. Same passes, same claim protection. Hole-filling isn't exclusive to it — pass 4 runs in all three modes.
Aggressive and fill need griefprevention.restorenatureaggressive on top of griefprevention.restorenature; both are in the admin permission group by default.
