What's New

Added support for Keenetic Hero and other newer Keenetic models

Some newer Keenetic routers (including the Hero series) use a different login method called NDW2 Challenge Auth, which means the integration could not connect to them at all — until now.

How to use it

When setting up the integration, you'll see a new option: "Use Challenge Auth". If you have a newer Keenetic model and the integration fails to connect with the default settings, enable this option and try again.

Older models are unaffected — the default Basic Auth login continues to work exactly as before.

In short:

  • ✅ Keenetic Hero and other NDW2 models are now supported
  • ✅ Existing setups require no changes
  • ✅ New "Use Challenge Auth" toggle in the setup form
