Mewrk 1.0.0 is the first release of Mewrk, a desktop coding agent for macOS and Windows. Like other coding agents, it reads and edits your project, runs commands, searches the web, spawns subagents and checks its own work in a browser. The difference is that everything the model sees and does stays in your hands: you can edit its context, choose the tools for each conversation, and rewrite every prompt Mewrk adds.

Get started

  1. Download the file for your system below: macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon, or Windows 10 or 11 on x64.
  2. If you use Claude Code, install the Claude Agent components under Settings → Providers → Model providers → Claude Agent (one click; Mewrk fetches them from npm) and Mewrk picks up its login. Otherwise open Settings → Providers → Model providers to sign in with ChatGPT, or add a provider with your own API key.
  3. Add a folder with New project in the sidebar, and start a task.

Every file is also on https://dl.mewrk.dev/v1.0.0/, a mirror that is faster where GitHub's downloads are slow. The installers stay small: Mewrk downloads its model service from dl.mewrk.dev when it starts, and the agent for another kind of machine the first time you connect to one.

Mewrk 1.0.0 是 Mewrk 的首个版本。Mewrk 是 macOS 与 Windows 上的桌面编程 Agent：和其他编程 Agent 一样，它会读写你的项目、运行命令、联网搜索、派出子代理，并在浏览器里检查自己的成果。不同之处在于，模型看到什么、做什么，始终由你掌控：你可以编辑它的上下文，为每个对话挑选工具，改写 Mewrk 加进去的每一句提示词。

开始使用

  1. 在下面下载对应系统的文件：macOS 13 及以上（Apple 芯片），或 Windows 10、11（x64）。
  2. 如果你在用 Claude Code，在 设置 → 提供商 → 模型提供商 → Claude Agent 里点一下安装 Claude Agent 组件（Mewrk 从 npm 下载），之后会直接沿用它的登录。否则打开 设置 → 提供商 → 模型提供商，用 ChatGPT 账号登录，或者用你自己的 API Key 添加一个提供商。
  3. 在侧边栏点 新建项目 添加一个文件夹，然后开始一个任务。

下载

  • Windows 安装版 Mewrk_1.0.0_x64-setup.exe：按机器安装，缺少 WebView2 时自动引导安装，会从本页自动更新。
  • Windows 便携版 Mewrk_1.0.0_x64_portable.zip：解压后运行 mewrk.exe。
  • Windows MSIX Mewrk_1.0.0_x64.msix 与 Mewrk_msix_signing.cer：先把证书导入「本地计算机 → 受信任人」（只需一次），再打开安装包；需 Windows 10 2004 及以上。
  • macOS Mewrk_1.0.0_aarch64.dmg：macOS 13 及以上、Apple 芯片；带 Developer ID 签名并经公证。
  • 校验 SHA256SUMS：以上所有文件的 SHA-256。

所有文件也在 https://dl.mewrk.dev/v1.0.0/ 镜像上，GitHub 下载慢的地方更快。安装包本身很小：Mewrk 启动时从 dl.mewrk.dev 下载它的模型服务，第一次连接其他类型的机器时再下载那台机器用的代理。
