I was looking into comparison between catch2 and other C++ test framework, and this link is the first non-AI search result in google:

I opened that page and it looks extremely sus.. but I can't find any official sources that states that catch2 . org is not official catch2 home page

It is not. The singular official website for Catch2 is https://github.com/catchorg/Catch2

Anyway, I tried to send feedback about the search results, and the feedback form got stuck empty. 10/10, no notes (possible).

Unfortunately catch2 isn't the first open source project to have imposter website that I know of... I accidentally opened a bing page when trying to launch scrcpy from windows search and was greeted by a fake scrcpy dot org on the first result of that bing page.. related issue: Genymobile/scrcpy#6098
