BREAKING CHANGE

  • the semantic-search dependencies are no longer installed
    by default. Deployments using ENABLE_SEMANTIC_SEARCH / VECTOR_SYNC_ENABLED
    from PyPI must install nextcloud-mcp-server[semantic]. The Docker image
    is unaffected.

Feat

  • plugin entry points, with SAR as the first plugin

Fix

  • name the plugin when its tool or route registration fails
  • plugin load errors name the entry point; status survives a faulty plugin
  • harden plugin loading and keep stdio's tool set unchanged
  • hint at the documents extra only for types it would parse
  • guard semantic-only CLI paths on an install without the extra
  • address Sonar shelldre:S7688 in the login-flow client hook; doc oidc 2.5 + DCR
  • auth: work with Nextcloud oidc 2.5's stricter client auth and resource policy

Refactor

  • move plugin availability flags out of get_server_status

  • keep the semantic stack out of the core import path

  • move the semantic-search stack into a semantic extra
