Release Overview

Since the fork (post-v1.3, April 14, 2026), this repo has focused on Android 16 readiness and Vector API 101 compatibility.

What Changed

  • Added a conservative Android 16 compatibility update (initially Pixel device-focused, then generalized).
  • Added compatibility documentation (COMPATIBILITY.md, including Vector v2.0 notes).
  • Release engineering & CI/CD. Added a dedicated release workflow at .github/workflows/release.yml.
  • Updated Gradle/app config and runtime initialization paths (app/build.gradle.kts, Init.java).
  • Updated manifest/resources for launcher icon handling.
