Garden playtest — unified engine and art

Garden playtest for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.

The current download is Garden-unified-playtest-2026-10-23.dmg. It combines the art Garden with the selected engine checkout, including the Art pass, Golden hour and Storybook looks, planting, harvesting, watering, plant food and market orders. Change looks under Garden → Look.

Open the disk image, drag Garden into Applications, and choose Play. WASD moves; E plants or harvests; Q waters; R refills at the barrel; F feeds. Shop buys seeds and Backpack sells fruit.

The app and DMG are Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple and stapled. The packaged app passed boot, GPU loading, world ticking and rendered-scene checks. Garden's saves agree across Linux and web in all three execution modes and the release comparison.

The integration is committed locally on castle-port as 6b01a15ff9; it has not been landed on origin/main. The source archive on this older release tag remains the original art reference at 7716302242. The original Garden-art-playtest-2026-10-23.dmg is retained as that reference; use the unified download above for the current playtest.
