In this release
- The MacBook lid is black glass, not an aluminium picture frame. Head-on a MacBook
is one sheet of glass with a hairline of anodised edge; filling the bezel with metal is
right for a phone and is what made the laptop read as a cheap monitor. - The lid has real proportions. A MacBook chin is three times its forehead — the
wordmark is etched there. The bezel was uniform, and the physical merge keeps the
top/bottom ratio, so "the same all round" quietly produced a symmetric lid no Mac has. - The notch no longer hangs below the menu bar, and there is a camera in it.
- The deck is the width of the lid, with the hinge recess across it and the scoop at
the front, sized from the device rather than from a constant that suited only the 14". - MCP setup hands over a config block with the path already filled in, so any MCP
client takes the same block and nobody has to work out where the extension unpacked.
