DevClash 0.1.0-beta.7
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.7
Join the leaderboard directly from the desktop app on macOS, Windows and Linux.
- Add a clear leaderboard invitation and guided browser connection.
- Enable cloud sync for joining only after your explicit confirmation is returned by the server.
- Keep joining actionable while confirmation is pending, and distinguish joined accounts awaiting eligible usage from ranked accounts.
- Carry forward beta.6 local-storage protections, the Linux GLib fix and cloud-sync retry improvements.
- Keep the ready-to-restart update notice above the footer so account and Share controls remain accessible.
- Preserve existing account sessions, display preferences and sync consent during upgrades.
This remains a beta. Signed packages and matching reviewed desktop source are published together.
Built locally on native hosts. Source commit: 1842e33c423010d6acb12376a63fc6501391d378.
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.6
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.6
Security update for macOS, Windows and Linux.
- Protect local usage and settings files with owner-only permissions on Unix systems, including existing files when accessed.
- Reject symlink and hardlink targets before writing local data files.
- Include the GLib security fix used by the Linux desktop dependency stack.
- Preserve existing account sessions, preferences and cloud-sync consent during upgrades.
Cloud credits use automatic eligibility checks with no daily earning cap. Timely usage remains convertible; late uploads remain in full token history. Provider credentials stay on the device. The deployed API enforces this policy independently of the desktop update.
This remains a beta. Platform signing, installation and update evidence is recorded with the release artifacts.
Built locally on native hosts. Source commit: 461655d285176a1b67effe2c5c3696463d95314c.
Release verification: all native builds, updater signatures, macOS notarization, and Windows Authenticode checks passed. Apple Silicon installation, login/settings preservation, and Windows installation/removal were checked. Full device coverage remains incomplete, including physical Intel Mac testing and fresh Linux installation/update cycles. This beta is published with the owner’s explicit approval of those coverage exceptions.
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.5
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.5
Your available Rank Battle position now appears directly below the usage summary and above Providers, so it is easier to find.
- Respects the existing rank visibility preference.
- Preserves account, sync consent, and display settings.
- Includes the simplified cloud account panel and sync-status hover without an underline from beta.4.
This remains a beta. Windows may show a SmartScreen reputation warning despite valid signing. Linux packaging targets x64; physical Intel Mac and Wayland runtime coverage remain limited.
Built locally on native Mac, Windows and Linux. Source commit: 1237da70b5b66cd43fdb75ac9bd04c578ff9aac7.
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.4
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.4
Cloud sync is easier to find, understand and control, with a clearer on/off switch that stays visible on Linux as well as Mac and Windows.
- When cloud sync is off, the dashboard offers Enable Cloud Sync and explains how eligible synced tokens can be converted into Build Credits in the web dashboard.
- Account settings show a larger On / Off switch, describe what is uploaded, and follow the app's light or dark appearance.
- Click the footer's cloud status to open settings. Off, pending, error and completed-sync states now have distinct indicators.
- A failed preference change keeps the confirmed setting and lets you retry. Cloud uploads and public rankings remain separate choices.
- Choose an owned project in your cloud account to assign new Claude, Codex and OpenCode usage until you switch or stop the project session. Cursor account-wide snapshots remain unassigned.
- History uploads use batched server ingestion for less database work while preserving deduplication and recoverable progress.
Existing preferences and optional cloud-sync consent are preserved. This remains a beta. Windows can show a SmartScreen reputation warning despite valid publisher signing. Linux native validation targets XFCE/X11; Wayland and physical Intel Mac coverage remain limited.
- Simplified cloud account panel with expandable details and no large cloud header icon.
- Sync status hover uses color and background feedback without an underline.
Built locally on Mac, Linux and Windows. Desktop and signing inputs verified byte-for-byte against committed source 4d6ed0cf3f9a159373f6ac97f51523ed0bdc3d97.

DevClash 0.1.0-beta.3
Sign in to the desktop app using the same Google, Apple or email options as the DevClash website, with faster history uploads and clearer sync progress.
- Choose Sign In With Browser, complete sign-in on the DevClash website, and enter the connection code shown in your app.
- The desktop connects automatically after approval. An existing browser session can be used without another email code.
- Connection requests expire after ten minutes. Cancel or retry from the desktop if needed.
- Cloud uploads and public rankings remain separate opt-ins. Existing display preferences are preserved.
- Large history uploads do less disk work, with safe checkpoint recovery if the app closes or the connection fails.
- The dashboard and account settings show matching sync status and the remaining record count. Progress updates after each acknowledged background batch, and recovered errors clear as uploads resume.
- Last Completed Sync identifies when the queue finished uploading, including the initial history upload.
This remains a beta. Windows may display a SmartScreen reputation warning despite valid publisher signing. Linux validation covers XFCE/X11; Wayland and physical Intel Mac validation remain limited as recorded for beta.2.

DevClash 0.1.0-beta.2
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.2
DevClash 0.1.0-beta.2 adds provider-specific project usage and prepares the desktop
app for the separate DevClash app and API domains.
- Expand Claude, Codex and OpenCode usage to see recorded projects and their
models for Today, Week and Month. Search longer project lists and inspect each
project's share of the provider total. - Keep Cursor account-wide usage separate from project-level measurements.
Missing project information stays unassigned rather than inventing a folder. - Keep project names and directories on your device. Cloud usage records and
shared images exclude this local project information. - Use
api.devclash.aifor desktop cloud requests and updates, and
app.devclash.aifor browser rank and profile pages. The official domain move
preserves existing cloud consent, queued records and eligible saved sessions. - Retry provider authorization from an actionable message when macOS access is
denied, and preserve usable desktop or CLI logins when another source is
unavailable. - Improve Linux floating-widget resizing when changing layout or enabled rows.
- Restore the floating widget's saved position when reopening it and after an
app restart, including compact widgets near the bottom of the screen. - Preserve existing display settings, provider choices and update preferences
across the upgrade.
The desktop remains useful without a DevClash account. Saving usage to the cloud
and joining public ranks are optional. Usage collection excludes prompts, replies
and provider credentials; missing measurements or model prices remain unavailable.
This is a beta release. Windows may display a SmartScreen reputation warning
despite the valid FUTUREFORGE LABS signature. Linux validation covered XFCE/X11;
Wayland and some remote-display configurations remain unverified. The Intel Mac
build has been checked under Rosetta, but has not been tested on physical Intel
hardware. Small desktops or unusual display scaling may clip customization.
