Maintenance release. No new features or UI changes. Install over v11.0.2-fork.1; your login and settings are kept.
Security
- Other apps could read Simpletask's private files, including the stored Dropbox login. This is fixed. The bug is also in the original app (11.0.1), so anyone still on it should update.
- Files you share from Simpletask can now be read only by the app you share them with.
Data safety
- Saves, reloads and backups now run one at a time, so an older save can no longer overwrite a newer one.
- Editing a task while a sync lands no longer creates a duplicate (from scaprisecca's fork).
- Sharing a very large list now always sends the current list instead of an old copy.
Fixes
- Add Task: the button bars stay above the keyboard on Android 15+.
- The status bar is dark again, with readable icons, on Add Task, Settings, Help, History and other screens. On Help, History, Debug info and the Lua editor the top of the screen is no longer hidden behind the title bar.
- Tapping a task in the home-screen widget keeps the widget's filter.
- The daily refresh at midnight no longer gets cancelled by the 15-minute background reload.
- A crash in the list/tag dialog is fixed (from the original author's unreleased work).
- A failed share no longer leaves an invisible screen that blocks touches. The grey title bar flash when sharing is gone (from willemw12's fork).
- Blank Russian, Polish and Portuguese text is fixed.
- Dropbox SDK 8.0.2. The app now needs Android 8 or later.
