1.3.0 - More reliable agent workflows and configuration

TideCode 1.3.0 strengthens long-running agent work, tool execution, model configuration, and workspace reliability across Desktop and CLI.

  • Makes Code Mode patching, mutations, cancellation, run-service requests, and tool-output recovery more resilient, including Windows-safe file replacement and bounded operations.
  • Keeps active requests open across AI compaction and reduces memory and CPU overhead in long, tool-heavy chats with bounded reads, coalesced streaming updates, and leaner recovery payloads.
  • Adds default reasoning effort per task model and clearer configuration cards and dialogs, while keeping Agent and Plan defaults separate from conversation-specific overrides across Desktop and CLI.
  • Makes skills consistently editable from Settings, tightens text-selection behavior across workspace panels, and prevents duplicate TideCode PATH entries when the Windows installer runs repeatedly.
  • Requires no manual migration or configuration changes.
  • Validated with 1,398 automated tests, TypeScript type checking, the production build, and pull-request CI.
