New Features
- Added Quectel native voice device detection, which selects the native QPCMV voice backend based on USB vendor and product information.
- Added a dedicated Sound Settings page where you can choose from multiple built-in alert tones for SMS and incoming calls, preview sounds, or import custom audio.
- Added a dialing ringback tone and a hang-up tone for clearer call status feedback.
- SMS content now recognizes web links, phone numbers, and verification codes; you can open links, send numbers to the dialer, and copy verification codes with one tap.
Improvements
- Quectel native devices no longer require ADB to be enabled; they can pass the initialization check directly as long as the other USB functions meet the requirements and
usbnet=1. - When a Quectel native device needs ECM enabled, only the necessary network modes are adjusted, and the KO injection flow is no longer triggered by ADB status.
- Cellular connection status is now determined by the actual ECM link, IP address, and carrier registration status, preventing "Waiting for module" from being shown when already online.
- Module details now include USB vendor, USB product, device type, firmware version, voice hardware capability, and voice implementation information.
- Improved the ordering of notification and microphone permission requests on first launch to prevent multiple system prompts from conflicting with each other.
- Improved the close behavior of the initialization window after completion, as well as content presentation in SMS details and conversation bubbles.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Quectel native devices were incorrectly flagged as requiring full initialization when
adb=0. - Fixed an issue where a working cellular data link was overridden with "Waiting for module" when the module had other configuration warnings.
- Fixed an issue where digits in URLs or long phone numbers could be misidentified as SMS verification codes.
