This version updates the build system so that it is less brittle for installation with CellProfiler 4.2.x

  • removes deprecated features in build system
  • removes Cython 3 support (will add back in 1.3.x)
  • builds across python 3.8, 3.9, 3.10
  • produces wheels for most major OS and architectures

Future versions, 1.2.x, will be updated only for continued support of CellProfiler 4.2.x
