Sat-bundleadjust v1.0.0
This release tags the original version of sat-bundleadjust, developed for the 2021 IPOL article A Generic Bundle Adjustment Methodology for Indirect RPC Model Refinement of Satellite Imagery.
The software implements a generic bundle adjustment pipeline for refining Rational Polynomial Camera models from feature correspondences across multiple satellite images.
Main characteristics
- Feature matching based on handcrafted feature detectors, descriptors and matching methods.
- Image-pair selection based on stereo baseline distance and geographical overlap between views.
- RPC refinement through bundle adjustment using feature tracks as tie points.
- RPC model handling based on the rpcm package.
- Corrected cameras are exported in RPC format by means of the rpcfit package.
