Dependancies have been included in the repo - you shouldn't need npm install.

Did you find any libraries missing?

Ah, good point @remy. It works fine without the npm install step.

Might be useful to add a line like “Open http://localhost:8000/ in your browser” to the README though.

Agree. We can also point people to the zip file that they can download from
github directly (rather than needing git to clone). i.e. we were looking
to keep the barrier of entry super low (which is why the node modules are
in the repo).
